The Partnership for a Healthy Mississippi knows that teachers have a level of credibility with their students that is impossible to match. Students trust their teachers, and they listen to the lessons they are taught. However, teachers are already busy enough.
The Partnership creates and implements classroom lessons that are easy to teach and rewarding for both teachers and students. The Partnership's in-school programs are designed to fit into existing curriculum. Teachers don't have to skip a science lesson or rush through English to create time for an activity. They can be worked into the lesson plans without any hassles.
All training sessions and teaching materials offered by The Partnership are free of charge to teachers. Teachers receive useful materials that are easy to implement into the classroom. The materials provide educational activities that help students build decision-making skills and self-esteem. All classroom materials are given free of charge!
